    Hey Brendan,
thats a sweet looking boat! Is that blue flake in good shape? How's the rebuild coming along? How's the Panther pump?

The blue flake is in just ok shape I am going to re do the flake . The Panther pump is in good shape . I plan to reseal it and install a new bushing in the stator housing with panthovator trim .
I got a little stalled out on the restore . Turned out to be a busy winter this year in my shop . been working on a 1975 pantera race car . A shop comissioned a full set of tooling for fiberglass bodywork . Been shaping alote of paddle boads too this winter.

I need to put some overtime in on the boat . I would like to get it done before spring .
I am going kind of simple on this one . Two pedestal seats and a engine cover . It is going to mostly be a high speed ,long range fishing boat for two with 70 gallons of fuel for the big ford .

Sounds like life's good for you? Busy on both ends isn't a bad thing. I had 17 days off over Christmas, I got a ton of stuff done to my Cruisers boat. I'll post some pics in the next few days. Dean.

I found some kiln dryed super high density clear vertical grain DF to hold the big ford
Transom is glassed in just like a surfboard fin . 1inch of fiberglass rope around the whole perimeter + 2 layers of 10 oz glass cloth .

Re: Boogie Jet :: 1977 Marlin Dolphin

I left my other boat in Montana so I need to finish the boogie jet.
I picked up a galvinized trailer for it since it will mostly see salt water
it was about 2' too long so I had to move every thing up 2' .
i kind of like the way the back sticks out it will protect the jet if someone bumps me.
Or I may just cut it flush .

Stringers in and phaolic hard points in stringers and the transom for all the hardware to go through. Hardwear wont leak into wood or crush when tightened , roughed out.

NICE work, just make the ends of that trailer pointy then if they hit you they pay the ultimate price. LOL....
