36hrs Late I am Home From Canada...

Wow, what an experience!! The clueless Canadians gave me my own boat, who says fishing boats can't jump? LOL The fishing was kind of sporadic and slow for the first couple days but I caught halibut, salmon, flounder, black bass and rock fish. Every time I would get frustrated with the fishing I would just take a breath and soak in the scenery, watch some eagles, watch some whales or eat a sandwich. I will never pull up to a dock again without thinking of this lodge. You pull up, get your catch bagged and tagged, then go have a hot meal and load the cooler with sammys and snacks. Takes about an hour. When you get back in the boat it is cleaned and fueled, anything broke is fixed, all of the poles are rigged and fresh hand towels are on the dash! Trip of a life time for a poor boy like me....
