a little video from Saturday at don pedro with 78hallet. gunna need to do some tinkering with the carb cuz it was suckin down fuel like crazy. we head back down there for a week starting on thursday so if any of yall want to cruise on down look for us and stop by and say hi.

yeah its running great, just a pig on fuel consumption. my mechanical secondaries are starting to come in at 1/4 throttle so its slurpin fuel like crazy. need to tweek the linkage so they start coming in at least at half throttle or a little after. might swap on my vacuum secondary car while im houseboating for a day or two to see if gets better fuel economy. now its at the fun part of tuning

Installed some led accent lighting this week

Took the boat out about a week or so ago. Ran great, and got a new top speed. 73.2mph on the gps

Jet boats are pretty much the worst hobby ever. They cost a lot to build and then even more to run. The kids love them and then the wife decides she loves them more. Then you end up getting ink to represent. Its all you talk about at work, family get togethers, and at random airports. Pretty soon you decide to dream of a comp jet race team boat, it could be done cheap right? LOL
