Parts seem loose on my panther? Please help

Hey guys, I just purchased a boat with a panther and it seems to be working fine. But I noticed when I was checking it out on the trailer that some parts like the reverse gate seem to be loose and have some play in it. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Thanks

I would check the nylon bushings, metal on metal would not be good..Tom at Jet boat Performance would know what kind of play is acceptable, good luck with the new float!!
speed cost...how fast do you want to go????

General wear from time ad use at the nozzle and reverse pins and nyliner bearings will likley produce that feeling, simple fix to rebush those pieces Tom

Like Tom and Dave said, the nyliner bushings can really tighten things up nicely. Only issues I had beyond that is where Panther modified my exit housing, they didn't leave enough material, and the holes ovaled out. But I can show you pics of a solution to that if thats what you find.

Thanks, I live out in upstate NY. Do you know how I would be able to get that stuff and have it shipped out here?

Give Tom a call at Jetboatperformance.com, or Duane at Hi-Tech Performance. They can send you what you need.
