    KITTY LITTER CAKE HALLOWEEN RECIPE

1 (18.25 ounce) package German chocolate cake mix
1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
2 (3.5 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (12 ounce) package vanilla sandwich cookies
    3 drops green food coloring
1 (12 ounce) package tootsie rolls
    Directions
Prepare cake mixes and bake according to package directions (any size pan).
Prepare pudding according to package directions and chill until ready to assemble.
Crumble sandwich cookies in small batches in a food processor, scraping often. Set aside all but 1/4 cup. To the 1/4 cup add a few drops of green food coloring and mix.
When cakes are cooled to room temperature, crumble them into a large bowl. Toss with 1/2 of the remaining cookie crumbs, and the chilled pudding. You probably won't need all of the pudding, you want the cake to be just moist, not soggy.
Line kitty litter box with the kitty litter liner. Put cake mixture into box.
Put half of the unwrapped tootsie rolls in a microwave safe dish and heat until softened. Shape the ends so that they are no longer blunt, and curve the tootsie rolls slightly. Bury tootsie rolls randomly in the cake and sprinkle with half of the remaining cookie crumbs. Sprinkle a small amount of the green colored cookie crumbs lightly over the top.
Heat 3 or 4 of the tootsie rolls in the microwave until almost melted. Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle lightly with some of the green cookie crumbs. Heat the remaining tootsie rolls until pliable and shape as before. Spread all but one randomly over top of cake mixture. Sprinkle with any remaining cookie crumbs. Hang the remaining tootsie roll over side of litter box and sprinkle with a few green cookie crumbs. Serve with the pooper scooper for a gross Halloween dessert.

LOL, Marcee already stole the feet recipe. The kitty litter cake was baked in 2008. (For a birthday party even! :O) Don't ask about the whole cupcake fiasco....

    Re: Micheal Jackson Mix up

Pie Crust (Short Crust Pastry): (8-9 inch plate)
There will be plenty of extra pie dough to make the decorative shape.

    2 1/2 cups (350 grams) all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon (30 grams) granulated white sugar
1 cup (226 grams) unsalted butter, chilled, and cut into 1 inch (2.5 cm) pieces
    1/4 to 1/2 cup (60 - 120 ml) ice water
    BlueberryFilling:
4 cups (570 grams) fresh blueberries
    120 grams granulated white sugar
    30 grams cornstarch
    1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest (get the zest first before the squeezing its juice)
Egg Wash: (mix the 2 ingredients together)

    1 large egg yolk
    1 tablespoon cream

    Garnish:

Softly whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

    Lower Crust Direction:
Blend all the pie crust ingredients using food processor instead of electric cake mixer.
(You can also knead them by hand)
After you see the dough sort of clump together, move it to another bowl,
gently knead it with your hands make shape of ball

Wrap it using cling wrap or microwave plastic tightly.
Put the pie dough in the fridge for 15 min before you start rolling
Oil the pie dish with baking spray/ brush it with a little butter.
Divide the dough into 2. Wrap half of the dough with cling wrap
and put it back in the fridge
Roll the other half of the dough a little bigger than the size of your pie plate. Place the dough on the pie plate.
Shape the edge of the pie (if u like) and poke lots of holes on its bottom using
a fork. This will just prevent the crust from puffing up and cracking during the
    baking.
Put it in the freezer for 15 min or more, the crust will
    be extra firm
    Filling direction:
Mix sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice and lemon zest together in a big mixing bowl

Add blueberry, stir until the sugar mixture coat the fruits evenly.
Roll the extra dough and shape them like octopus tentacles.
If you have a zig zag scissors, use it to make a better shape
of octopus tentacles. Brush all of them with egg wash
Pour the blueberry mixture into the pie plate.
If you like to stick anything on the crust edges,
you need to glue the decorative pastry together using egg wash
Put the raw pie in the fridge while you make the monster head.

    Preheat your oven 400F

    Top crust:

To make the head of the monster you can wrap the back of a muffin cup with
the extra pie dough. You need to oil the muffin cup and sprinkle it with a little
flour if you use the alumunium muffin cup.
Make the eyes and insert 2 blueberries for the eyes
Brush the shapes with egg wash. Freeze the head for 15 minutes
    Assembling:

Put the octopus pie hands on top of the blueberry raw pie.
Put the raw pie dish in the freezer for 15 min

Bake the "tentacles" pie for 20 minutes in 400F
After 20 minutes, take the pie out from the fridge and protect the
edges with alumuniun foil and bake it again
in lower temp (350F) for 35 minutes
Bake the raw head of the monster separately in 350F for 30 minutes
or until it looks golden brown.

Glue the head and tentacles together using egg wash.
Brush whole decorative shapes with egg wash one more time
Bake them together for 10 minutes in 350F
Cool the pie completely before storing it in the fridge.
