LOL....We had been tossing around names. I hadn't named it yet but Jill kept calling it my lay-away boat. I guess it's going to have to stick now.

When I was looking for a different boat I had made up my mind it was going to be a tunnel hull of some kind. I had already ruled out the Texas tunnel and that style of boat. I had pretty much made up my mind it was going to be an SWTD , Placecraft or a Daytona style boat. well my Cheyenne was at the right place at the right time and I had cash in my hand (Because it was burning a hole in my pocket) I believe either boat will make a fine lake boat if kept somewhere on the low side of overpowered Take your time and do it right the first time and you are gonna love it.

That's the plan....I have a lot of help from a few friends and relatives on how to set it up. My cousin told me that I was being a light weight if I wasn't shooting for at least triple digits. Of course he held the record for unblown gas jet in the 70's driving a SWTD.Click image for larger version.

Triple digits. That's what I was after. It's a little more difficult with a NA engine but can be done with the right setup, and it sounds like you have the right person on your side for that. Keep us posted cause I'll be watching your decisions and progress.
