New to Forum, '73 Cee Bee Avenger

Hey all, I thought I'd say hello, and show you my ride. I'm in central Ontario Canada, not exactly the jet boat capital of the world. As a teenager my friends dad bought a Taylor SS at the Toronto boat show in '78, and we had a blast in that thing every summer. Fast forward 35 years, and the bug bit again. I found this Avenger, and cleaned it up last winter. Its original gelcoat and upholstery, are still intact, as is the original 454 engine and every spec of paperwork from new, including the dealer invoice.

Thanks guys! Its a Texas boat, that set the original owner back $6,600 brand new. I think you could buy a new cadillac for that back then. The owner opted for a $400 extra-cost LS6 454, instead of the standard Olds power. Cee Bee had Guardian Marine build 454's to LS6 specs and 450 hp. The boat GPS's at 70 mph with a place diverter.

Welcome Demon! Damn, what a gorgeous Vintage Jet Boat! We would love to add any original Brochures, or Documentation (owners manuel, etc.) To our Boat Brochures section, if your willing? Thanks again for posting!
