Never heard of them. I'm thinking it's a mis-read. All the revisions were marked "D0" and "D1"back in the early 70's.

I thought the same thing Rob. This is second pair I found with the "O". The pair in my garage has the "O". The first pair I let slip through my hands.

Also I purchased a pair of "DOVE", no following "C". I found both pairs at a machine shop, both had new valve jobs. The DOVE heads are ported with installed studs & guide plates. Got both for the cost of 2 valve jobs. The PO left them there last year & never came back for them...-Rich

Rich, the top head is a C8VE revision.
    The D0VE's are a D0VE C, that's the only D0VE's that they made.
    Nice score on the heads!

    Valve events SAE:
    Intake opens 35 BTDC
    Intake closes 73 ABDC
    Exhaust opens 86 BBDC

Thanks Paul, I will edit the original to quote your list. welcome to Vintage Jet Boats.com. There are a few of BBF fanatics around here, seems like there is always something new to learn about these big Fords.
