Thanks Steve! The yellows that you guys have posted are the 'yellowest' that I've ever seen. They will work......I wish they were in the 'jumbo' flake though.

Humm, I just opened a few bags of the Copper and Orange I had planned to mix.....Trust me, in the bag or pic's on the net don't do this stuff justice. .025 is about as big as you are going to get so mix in a little .015 as filler......Buy a small bag of Yellow just to see what it really looks like......I think you will be surprised

Ok, as long as no one minds talking about this here: I use a cheap Binks copy siphon gun and I don't use any type of a filter on the pick up tube. It's just what I use for any type of shootable liquid.
What I'm trying to achieve would be a 'bass boat' style, over the top, buried in 25 coats of reflective bling yellow. Lol. So, I fully expect to shoot a dry flake....which means that I'll have to use two guns.

When I get ready to start a project I always shoot a test piece. It saves a lot of money sometimes.

Thanks for the links, everyone. I think that I finally found the color, at least, now I only need a .025" or bigger flake :)

Oh, hell, I just reread your post Lol.
I see what you're trying to say......about coverage right?
As long as I can maintain the chromatic part of the Corvette yellow, I wouldn't mind adding some smaller metallic.
As it is now, if you look at the paint in bright sunlight, it almost hurts your eyes. That's what I want to maintain but with a lot of reflectiveness, especially from the changing water surface.
    Rob......(again)

Been puttin more trim back on , polishing the rub rail was especially fun 1st was paint stripper to get the clear coat off , 2nd was the easy off oven cleaner to remove the anodizing ( over spray burns uncovered legs by the way ) lastly polishing and buffing 84 feet of aluminum channel cant say i'll miss that . The windshield is on order from UPD plastics , no telling when that will show up . Will be starting on the dash burlwood and the dash insert , gauges, steering, cables and all that stuff .
