    Powder Coating in Sacramento area...

I checked around a couple of places for pricing on painting the dual axle trailer...

    Huge variables...

    $250 to just sandblast it...

$800 - $1200 to sandblast and powder coat it...

Then I was referred to Performance Powder Coating in Carmichael, CA by Bill Morgan. One of his other customers had his trailer under his Daytona done and was happy with the job...
$400 to sandblast and powder coat it yellow!!!
    That's a great price I would say?
I will let y'all know how it turns out after it's done early 2012...

Hopefully you don't end up with the tire, wheels, and lights sand blasted and power coated too!

"We'll paint any car, any color for only $19.95" - Earl Scheib

That included the bumpers, tires, grill and all the chrome!!! You didn't have to worry about it much if it turned out badly because the paint peeled off within 6 months. LOL

It'll tell how old you are if you remember them charging $19.95!!!

Just messing with you. I doubt that Bill would send you somewhere that you'd be unhappy.

It just reminded me of my Sister's Mustang after she took it to Earl Scheib. She had it done in silver. Looked like primer after a month. LOl

guys keep in mind that if you have a trailer like I have competive that is welded and floated out with bondo and all ,you don't wont to have it sand blasted and if it is all floated with bondo you cant have it power coated either .I was going to do that with my trailer intill they told me that,so now its back to sanding and repainting it

Thanks for throwing that in there Scott I was assuming most of these guys new that Powder Coating was an electrostatic process and that Bondo not being metallic does not work with powder coating?
The Bondo would probably also melt/crack when heated to 375* - 400* that the ovens need get to to melt the powder so that it flows smoothly and then cures hard and durable?
