    Please help ID this boat

Hello. I'm trying to help a friend sell his boat and to advertise it I figure I should know what it is. The title says 1973 Delaware? It's apart but appears to be a 455 Olds. Thanks! Andy Click image for larger version.

The manufacturer identification code (MIC) of your craft identification number (CIN or HIN) is dlz. This MIC (dlz) stands for the company name Delaware Homemade Boats which is currently Federal or State Agency. This boat manufacturer has other company names (dlz sometimes goes by these name(s) , , , or ).
This company (Delaware Homemade Boats) is owned by and is located at Mic For State Issued Hins in state of De. It manufactured this vessel and placed your HIN or CIN on the hull. This Boat maker is not owned by a parent company. Delaware Homemade Boats has started making boats, yachts and other watercraft as of and went out of business on () in the following country: USA.

Judging by the metal tag on the back that's a government issued hin so that won't be much help, look inside for manufacturer plate.

Thank you for that. It seems Delaware Homemade Boats may have been a custom boat manufacturer judging by this page https://www.yachtingjournal.com/dire...ation-de-dover
and the fact that I can't find another jet boat quite like this one or any evidence that they made jet boats. Maybe it was a one off boat? The story is it was purchased off ebay in FL maybe 10 years ago. There was some sort of motor issue and it needed stringers as they were rotted. The engine, pump and interior were removed and stored indoors several years ago. Does anyone think there's a market for this as a project or would it be better to part out? It has a nice set of Hardin wet exhaust manifolds and a Berkely 12JC-A pump.
