PLEASE Help with my exhaust options for Ford 460

What are the best options for a BBF 460 that's under a closed cowling?

I have a set of h-2985 exhaust headers, they need a lot of polishing and before I tackle
that I'd like to know if its worth the trouble or are there better options?

    Thanks

For stock manifolds those are your best bet ... unless you're using tall covers. I've read they won't clear the top of the valve covers. For tall valve covers, the next best (for power) option; long-bolt logs. The short-bolt logs are the least desirable for making power.
I'm running long-bolt logs with tall covers; I've been told they will support 450-500hp.

Compare the port size to your head, it looks like those will be very restrictive.

I had the same manifolds on my 545. Before you use have them pressure tested. They can be cracked inside due to not being winterized property. Also there is a chrome powder coating available that looks pretty good. I had mine powder coated ford blue to match the engine color.
