Fitting a Dominator bowl to a Berkeley 12jg

I have a dominator bowl (8 fin), I dont see a number anywhere. It bolts to suction housing, I need to turn down the bowl or enlarge the transom adapter to fit it completely.

Is it a better flowing bowl than the stock JG bowl (mine has minor vane leading edge damage) and worth the effort to adapt it?

How are the outboard shaft bushings lubricated? Any other tips?

    I will answer myself:

Well I screwed up and broke the inner hub out of the bowl pressing out the glacial bushings and sleeve. I thinned the bushings out with a lathe, but not enough so they were super easy to push out, the bowls are known to be a bit weak and I thought I had it under control with the inner hub supported but it is floating and held with 5/16 thick alum casting. Grrrr.

I am going to replace the sleeve(with the greased model) and install it with the inner bore mount installed to hold everything in alignment and then pot the area around the bore mount and broken bowl with industrial epoxy, it will be very strong and save the bowl. A bowl stuffer will hide my handy work.

Pics to follow when I have some.
