    Riverfurm on the Delaware River

Hi all.... Great site! Been running old jet boats for a while now. First boat was a 1975 18' Mantra. 454 Chevy 30 over with NOX. Had that boat for about six years. Sold that and got a 21 ' Wellcraft Scarab, had that boat for about 12 years. Moved to the house I am in now on the Delaware River in eastern Pa. Needed a boat that was good for shallow water. Back to a jet boat, 1977 18' Checkmate Jetmate. 460 Ford Berkley Jet. Twentyseven years on the river with this boat. I keep it on my dock in the water during the boating season. Also have a 1988 20' Starcraft pontoon boat. Not to many boats like my Checkmate on the river. Mostly jet outboard fishing boats.
Hope to learn some more about old boats on this site. Thanks

The pontoon boat has antenna on it for a ham radio contest. The roostertail is from my buddy's jet.
