    Tightening loose steering column

One thing that bothered me for years now, was the rattle in my loose helm. The steering wheel adaptor had been on for so long, it was stuck. I finally picked up a simple harmonic balancer puller to get it off the shaft so I could find out where the slop was.

Turns out the (two piece?) yellow plastic part did not fit tightly any longer (did originally?)

There is some kind of metal keeper at the bottom, but it needed to be shimmed. A chunk of stainless hose clamp was a perfect fit.

Glue in place with RTV and that rattle can kiss my arse. Snug as a bug.
