    Jet Intakes

So I have read some more stuff that keeps me up at night. Does anyone else cover their intakes while on the road? I guess the racers have custom covers and the low budget guys use duct tape to keep road grime out of the intake while trailered. It makes perfect sense, just don't know why I never thought of it.

Easiest way to block a scoop while traveling is to stuff a piece of foam cut a bit large than the hole. Interference fit ;)

Were talking about the bottom of the boat, covering the water intake. For the scoop I just shove a t-shirt in there! LOL

I prefer to fill mine with weeds from the ramp!

    Removal isn't always fun.

of course we need more data than just one boat i'm thinking like 20 boats should get us close to an accurate test

Is that why my trailer looks like this?
