    Cool 1978 Kona Rebuild.

This is the family Kona. Bought by my grandfather originally. It has stayed in the family since. Originally had a 454 Chevy in it. The boat sat for a couple winters up near Chicago without being winterized. So now we are installing a 468 with dual carbs and tunnel ram. Dyno results: 569hp and 580lb torque. I could use some recommendations on someone in the area that can make a new cover for it, as the old one will not cover the new Engine. I am sticking with the Transom exhaust ports.

This cover has plenty of room to fit PVC arches under it, over the engine cover to keep the rain off.
