Sleek Freak, I received a notification that you posted a reply today, but the reply is not showing here. I see your previous reply above though. Do you have dimensions on the tank pictured, or the other you referenced? What boat were these in, a Wriedt Maverick? I'm having a problem with height of the tank fitting under the bow...tried a couple others already. How much are you asking for a tank? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Matt,
Mine is not a bow tank, if you decide to go a different direction, let me know.
    The dimensions are : 55"Long x 32" wide x 8" deep
Still has the pressure test cert tag for USCG holds 68 US Gals. Asking $100. Plus the freight.
PM me if you know anyone who wants it? Dean.

Thanks AG6. I think that tank is probably too big for this size boat. It's an 18' jet boat.

Here is a pic of the boat, the tank in the bow, before removal from the boat, and of the tank removed from the boat. Yes, that is brown metal flake, true 70's rockin' boat.

Oh Wriedt, I was thinking of using the Moeller tank you linked to, but it says it's 12" tall. My existing tank is just a tad over 10" tall and I don't see how the taller tank would clear the reinforcements on the bottom of the deck. I tried a used aluminum tank I found locally and it was 11.5" tall. It would not fit, due to height....hitting the deck reinforcements that run front to back on the bottom side of the bow deck. Can I ask how you made it fit? Thanks in advance.

    Good Morning Matt,
I was just thinking(usually dangerous for me, just ask Sleek!!) why don't you give us all that extra stuf here in thee commmunity, size dimensions of what your looking for, and we be able to come up with something. The gentleman next door to my shop is a Collage welding instructor. That being said we do on occasion trade favors(better than dollars for me) and he might be able to modify this or another one I have to fit your needs.. Have you considered a "belly tank" in the center foot well? They are terrific for CG of the boat and keeping the hull balanced? Just a thought. I've even thought about this as a emergency tank or for those that get stranded on the water.. Let me you thoughts on this pls. This tank really has no direct use for me, so I am just trying to help.
