    Pretty lonesome in here.....

...I think I can hear crickets. Am I the last poor bugger campaigning a Panther? I ended buying that one in my previous post - its an H in perfect shape, looks like its hardly been run. After getting the homemade ride plate off and shining up the unit it even looks pretty good. Almost done freshening up the 460 - can't wait to drop it back in and try it out with the new pump.

The river is good to go right now and the ice should be off yhe lake in a couple weeks. Both of my sons are in Bozeman, I went to school there a little over 30 years ago, nice place. We're you skiing or sledding?

Hi Tom - I was just kidding around. I look in here pretty often in hopes of learning more Panther stuff, but they don't generate the threads the berks do. Must mean ours are more reliable and trouble - free. ;) one of these days I'll have one of your conversions, but for today I'm excited to try my new one.

Brought my daughter up to check out MSU. She liked it but didn't like the dorms to much! LOL We took an afternoon trip up to Big Sky but didn't ski, no snow!!

I have a cousin that lives in Great Falls. He's regional manager for M&R for UPS.

Glad to hear you and Madison had a nice trip! You guys did very well raising her.. Or at least Marcee did!

Somewhere over on the old 'Laid Back Boaters' site there's a great thread on how one of the members modified his Panther with great success. He just basically blue printed all the sloppy casting from the factory. It'd be worth hunting down if you have one, hell it almost made me want to go buy something with a panther.

I think it's somewhere on this page?

Never mind, I just saw 78 tahiti had the thread here too.

Anyway, it's one of the best threads ever, a great study...now it's making me want a Panther again.

That would be Steve... His Tahiti does a pretty good job of scooting.

The dorms are certainly nothing special - you can apply for permission to live off campus first year - but most kids adjust better on campus at the outset. My younger son is junior in Chemical/Biological engineering - let me know if you have any questions about the academics and I'll get you in touch with him.

My sledder buddies down there have been complaining all winter about the lack of snow. Hopefully we'll have a wet spring to fill up the lakes and keep the rivers going. At least with the new pump I should need a couple less inches of depth!
