    Update on the leak, its fixed! I ran silicon around the back of jet output and that was where I was getting water in. Was on the lake yesterday and NO LEAKS!! YES

    I never ever ran the jet pump out of water. The drive shaft has always been removed running the engine out of water. Only the engine I have run. I appreciate the advice again and anyone else...

    Well the raw water pump hose out puts are about 1" so there not two small and some big chunks could move through the hoses and get caught up unless they were really small.
