    More progress, now that I'm back from a business trip.

    I ordered four 60° 2.5" 304 stainless mandrel bends last Friday, to make my over transom exhaust setup.

    Had to bore out the v-band...

    3D printed tach centering ring, goes from 85mm ID to 3.5"OD to fit the gauge cutout....

    Yesterday was valve cover and fuel pump day.


    Swapped the Mickey Thompson covers on with rubber gaskets and 518 sealant.

    The rear oil leak seems to be coming from the back manifold to block seal pushing out under load.

    IT MOVES!

    Got a lot of stuff done between Thursday and Saturday at 9:00PM when she went on her maiden float.

    I'll document that time period in another post.

    Well, I did not make the goal of getting it in the water for the solstice.
    Weather, and just the sheer amount of stuff that needed to get completed, worked against that.

    Automatic bilge pump and the orange paddle of fate have been acquired.
    No photos of those yet.

    Also finished off the plumbing of the main glycol loop (minus the surge can) with a heater core...

    I bought a 2002 PT Cruiser upper coolant hose, and a 1972 Camaro lower coolant hose to help complete the system.
    The issue is I've got 1.125", 1.25", 1.75", and 1.5"...

    Machined out a stepped expanding collet to hold the weld-on fittings in place while welding.

    Coolant line and fittings came in, ordered a Hot Foot throttle, and got some other stuff figured out.
    I replaced the nyliner bushings on the reverse gate/steering nozzle since they were knackered...
