    LOL I am just going to swap the interior with my other boat, I just think the white with brown piping will look better in the white and brown boat and the original brown interior I know looks better...

    Only bad thing about coating with grease or jelly is all the dirt, dust, sand, and anything else blowing around will get stuck to it and is a pain in the A@# to clean.

    All the boats I have had have the exact same setup you do, never has given me any issues. I spray them now and them with electrical contact cleaner but that is all I do.

    I have always thought custom covers are the best, but not cheap. They don't allow for all the "flopping" around. My pops had a custom cover made for his challenger, towed that boat thousands of miles...

    Probably very true, but you can honestly never know until you look. Some times you get what you pay for. My 460 has never been rebuilt or even cracked open neither has the pump, 41 years old starts...

    Thats a fact! The entire family used to go for a week and a half every late August, the group got so big with tag alongs we had to move the weeks we were going just to throw people off the trail LOL...
