  • Thrill the Children First Annual VJB Toys for Tots Challenge!

    Saturday November 2, 2013...

I know it's short notice and not even sure if we'll be able to access Lake Berryessa because of the government shut down, but VintageJetBoats.com would like to start a new tradition and make a worth while donation to the Marines Toys for Tots Foundation and have a little hot boat fun at the same time.

We usually meet up for breakfast at Black Bear Diner just off 80 in West Sac and then convoy over to the lake...
I hope we can make this an awesome annual gathering that's worthwhile!!!

Same gathering place as other times in the last few few years. Steele Park/ Lupine Shores
I'll bring hamburgers/hot dogs to feed those that bring a new unwrapped toy...
If you don't bring a toy and still wanna eat there will be a box for $$$ donations...

I MIGHT need a ride, not sure if Iam bringing the boat yet, its all nice and tucked in my shop at work for the winter and kind of a pain to move around in there.

Average arrival time the past couple years has been between 10:30-11:00 am. We setup a day camp, right near the ramp! So anytime is great!

PS David, I'm bringing some Pasta Salad to share as well!

what a great way to cap the season. Awesome weather and time with my VJB friends. Even got to make new VJB friends. Jeff M's boat was one of the prettiest there but I can't help think there's something missing...

We missed you too buddy! If I'd have known you were coming to breakfast I'd have given you a call with the plan change. Say hi to Rene and I hope things settle in soon.

A great big "THANK YOU" to David and all for everything. I so enjoy these outings, as well as my family. After the last month or so with all the things that I have gone through, I so needed to do this. My Dr. might not agree but I have yet to take him for a ride in the boat!! My buddy Ryan's boat, 74 Wriedt, 455 olds, took a major dump on him and thank you David for towing it in. All is not lost how ever as he still has the other 455 from the boat he scrapped. Glad it was the end of the season and not the start. We will get it back on the water. We took about 80 pictures and I have sorted through most of them. Here are some of the better ones cause I know we all like to see the picturesAttachment 12465Attachment 12466
