  • A List Jet Boat Manufacturers

Here's the deal, we want to put a picture of each manufacturer's jet boat on this page?

Take a look at the list below and help us fill it in please. Even if it's a duplicate.

If we're missing a manufacturer, post up a picture and some info in the comment section.

I have gathered a few pictures and info from our site already. Let me know where to find more pictures of the ones that are missing, whether in an existing thread, Album or on another site. Also, if you have any history on any manufacturer feel free to leave that info in a comment too.

Where possible MIC Database info is posted for the company.

Information on this page is provided to you as a free service of www.VintageJetBoats.com. Because this information has come from many sources we can not guarantee its accuracy.

Sorry for the confusion David... I didn't find a HIN. I just Found the video of a guy claiming it is a Mariah. I had not heard of them, so I did a google search and found a few guys talking about them and one for sale, but no really good pics. So I looked up the MIC in the database. http://www.uscgboating.org/recalls/m...il.aspx?id=VXX

Sorry to resurrect this, but the video of the Mariah with AMC 360 is actually a boat I ended up with about 3 months after that video. The HIN does start out VXX. It was manufactured 12 of 78 and according to the USCG website, they went out of business in March of 1979. I will be glad to post pics up of it. I just got done sanding the Black and Red paint off and painting it silver with Daytona Blue. I was able to uncover the original stripe scheme, but went a different direction. I did take pics of the stripe layout though. Any info anyone has on these Mariahs would be appreciated. I haven't been able to get really any info. Trying to research it is actually what led me here. The HIN leads me to believe they didn't even make 60, at least for 1978. I can't even find when Mariah started making them. Below is another video the previous owner made of it.

Alright! Another AMC to keep history alive.

I remember that video as I searched for other AMC powered boats. Sounds a lot like mine. Welcome and good boating. Almost time to pull the tarp, the season is near

Here's some pics of it earlier this year before I tore it down. I put two folding seats in the back after I got it and put a wooden "firewall" in to keep the daughter from getting her hands in the fan belt. July of 2014 the mechanical seal went out and ended boating for that year and then my wife had our other daughter in November of 2014. The boat has sat since then and I decided to fix it.

Here's where we are so far with the new engine cover and upholstery. Still have a little more work to go before she's out.Attachment 17950Attachment 17949Attachment 17948Attachment 17947Attachment 17946Attachment 17945

Thank you. It's actually my first boat. I have a lot of experience with classic cars and hot rods, so the learning curve isn't that bad. I still need to buff it, install the new trim tabs, finish the upholstery, and install the new gauges and stereo. I should have it done this next month.

I forgot to mention that it is a 20', not an 18. I found a couple people mention the 18' models on the internet, but nothing on the 20' model. Kinda leads me to believe the 20' is even more rare. Like Mariah in general are common. LOL.

Much better! Did you build that engine cover from scratch?

I built the engine cover and a buddy of mine did the upholstery. The first version I did was way too boxy, so I ended up angling it and making the side opening doors. I ordered the vents off of ebay and the hood scoop is off of the glass front end for my 55.Attachment 17971Attachment 17970Attachment 17969Attachment 17968Attachment 17967
