Hey Tom, it would sure be kool if you could do a little photo essay for everbody. Realisticly i mean. Pics of panther installed (which you just posted) Maybe a pic from rear, inside and under after removal, then maybe a couple pics of the the template markings of whats going to get cut out of the hull, then an inside, rear & outside view after the cutouts are done. I think it would give a lot of readers a better perspective of what it takes to perform this kind of hull surgery. I realize your time is money, and photography is not what pays your guys salaries. But it may generate more interest in this kind of performance improvent. That perhaps the boat owner may be inclined to do, if "he can save a few bucks" by pulling the engine & pump, and clean-up the area thats going to be circumsized!

I belive I'll do just that as well as post up a link to Classic Custom Boats , I co wrote an article on this very subject last year , The Editor Bob Brown (Power Boat Mag fame) said today he would send a direct link for my web site and that I could use here as well Should be good ! Tom

Is that a day cruiser Tom? I am kinda surprised they didn't opt just to get panther-zized. Have you ever done any back to back comparosins(sp?) I would be curious to see what if any difference there is in top end between a energized one...and one that has had full blown surgery.

Kreg never had the opportunity to have two boats close enough in size weight and HP to garner that info , the Panther conversion typically results in the same basic numbers in terms of MPH and performance gain the investement is a little less with the "Energizer" kit , In this guys case he just had his heart set on making this particular conversion Tom

In the second to last pic Tom, I see that the lower center of the transom has cross piece. Is this where you have started adding fiberglass for the berk?

Steve that piece was actually added for ease of the bottom repair , because this jet will be "setback" we will eliminate that Tom
