That should make a nice little lake boat when done.

Thanks guys. I have a line on a fully equipped FE. I think that will be the perfect power plant choice to maintain the "correctness".

It has a Thoroughbred box with in-out, and a hydraulic throttle setup... neat old stuff.

The funny thing is, I really don't have much desire to run a 16' flatty. I think it will be a miserable (rough) ride. I just like the idea of preserving the history.

I want to learn how to spray some heavy flake too... so this is perfect.

Great find! That boat is a pretty sought after piece. That v-drive is a work horse and can handle a lot of horsepower with minimal changes. If it has straight cut gears, it will wine like you have a blower or gear drive on the motor. Thorobred v-drives are very distinct.

thanks everyone. It's a neat little boat. I'm excited to get this out and running. should really scoot with the 390 in it.

I need to not forget that my Tarva runs and need excercise too!

Nice Old Boat Add, Nailhead!

I stole it from another site, but I don't remember which one. I think I'm going to use that logo for some decals or maybe a few vintage style T-shirts.
