Printing on foil was not working well. The ink would bleed. The are are other ways to do it, but I opted to have this guy do them he only had to do it on silver rather than foil. Then the printer had issues and I had to wait a few weeks but I got them today and I think they look great...

Thanks for the Pics Rob! and the Lead! I know there aren't to many Panther Lovers out there. But there aren't that many boats out there with Turbos either! It just means there different! My "Kitty Jet" pushes my heavy old cruiser around just fine! I just had to teach it how to lift its tail!

In the Ebay Ad for the 78 Sleekcraft I noticed the Panther 454 decals. The guy says the boat is almost totally original. I would have guessed that Meritec sold the engines as a jet package, but this Sleek has a Berk. Maybe Meritec sold engines too...

I saw that too Rob... The Berk ID tag pic was to fuzzy to read but I am guessing E pump because of the cowl on the transome. My boat (IT WASNT INCLUDED IN THE SALE AND I DIDNT CUT IT UP!!!) had the old screw holes in the transome for that same cover. Maybe a Bad Berk dude was trying to spy on the Panther cats and infiltrate their club! Sounds like a premise for an action novel!!!

Wonder if Oprah would back such a novel? :MattMan_foshizzle:

I missed your reply somehow... but yeah, something fishy about the whole thing. Maybe he is one of those traitorous decal pushing panther swappers like David

As for cutting up engine covers, mine was a wood frame so easy to rebuild if a guy wanted to. But on that note, the holes I drlled in my Panther jet cover did indeed liven the sound of the exhaust up a bit. That unusual exhaust routing needed to breathe :drv:

I was testing to see if I could get notifications of posts to this thread. I wish it was default that way. I miss posts at times because I forget to set it that way and can't remember which forum it was in if its not recent on the home page.

anyway... it worked.

Hey Rob...
Click on "Settings" up on the top right...
Then on the left under "My Account" click on "General Settings"...
On the right under "Messaging & Notification" there is a drop down menu next to "Default Thread Subscription Mode"
You can choose your defaul notifications there...
I think that's what you're looking for?
