I found a neat alternative to the standard oil drain line kits. Probably won't fit every application, but will work great for mine.

Can find them here: http://www.oildrainvalve.net/f101n-1-2-20-unf/

Found some neat Anodized and Stainless aircraft drain valves in my search too (even though all but one are useless for any of us): http://www.saf-air.com/supplements/catalog_small.pdf

Me too... but the only oil drain on that list that is 1/2" is the red one. I ordered the brass one from the other site. Push on a hose, drain the oil, put away hose, done! And it should drain faster than the standard drain line kits since there's no pipe fittings reducing the id...

I have my oil pan drain plumbed out the transom about 6" away from my hull drain plug. just take the cap off and drain into a 5 gallon bucket setting on the driveway. way clean and easy.
