I have had a few questions in the last couple of weeks about editing pics, cropping, resizing, and reducing the upload size.
Go to getpaint.net - this is a free program that works very well. I use it at work and on my laptop because my Adobe PhotoShop is just a single user license, so this works great when I'm not at home at my desk.

You can do all the things listed above. Play with it, and if you have any questions post 'em on up and I'll see if I can help you out.

I just did a search for "gopro edit free" and that's what I found right off the bat...

I forgot to look for you Jwallmuth (I had posted something in the gopro thread)

and I apologize but ive still not looked very well for a free version so try Davids link.

@ David, I also got no software with mine and it came right from GOPRO not a distributor, I found that odd as FLIPHD Cams (much cheaper) do come with simple to use software, so easy my chick can do it.

as for video editing I have an older copy of Adobe premier it works but isn't free to buy. and like most adobe product's is very resource heavy on a PC, this is the one area I wish I owned an APple for, MacBooks rule for video production/editing.

I just assumed (and yes I know...) that it would come with some type of free editor as most do.

I too have Adobe Premier 6.0 although I am not very good with it.

NO Worries I also assumed it would come with something.....

hell Ive only shot 3 test videos around the home....

If you keep em short like we do with the flip (45 seconds to 2 minutes)
they will upload easily to any of the social media sites.
I just have to watch the cursing... HAHA

I also believe in the gopro thread where I originally responded. I read on another site that WIndows Movie Maker can be used to edit gopro videos , Its free if you own windows I just have not ever used it. so I cannot provide any feedback on "how to"...
