Did you know you can fly from Vegas to page for $79? I'll be there with all my toys all ready to play. Truck, motor home, boat and teryx. Laddie promised a lake run one day and some off roading another. Gonna be a busy trip, ie good times.

Thanks ! Sorry, but I had the same challenge as you. No original numbers or serial plates & in South Africa the boat is not registered on the trailer it is on...so not a requirement. I understand that some of these boats were imported to SA in the 70's for long distance skiing competitions. The pump that was in it was mid 70s. Sorry that I couldn't be of more help but if I ever come across any more info. I will let you know.

Both my boats are right hand drives with Hot Foots on the left, mounted through the hull. Here is South Africa we are used to accelerating with the right foot when driving cars & the adjustment was no problem at all. I have also hopped into a left hand drive boat with foot throttle straight from mine with no problem at all.Yep..."floored is floored" !

I had the same manifolds on my 545. Before you use have them pressure tested. They can be cracked inside due to not being winterized property. Also there is a chrome powder coating available that looks pretty good. I had mine powder coated ford blue to match the engine color.

Compare the port size to your head, it looks like those will be very restrictive.

Cosworth replied to a thread For Sale 1977 Spectra 18' for sale in Boats for Sale
Well I'm back again. Thought I would bump this thread. I didnt really push selling the boat since last I posted it and let the thread die (didnt post it elsewhere) I recently pumped all the old fuel out and changed the fuel filters. The carb needs to be rebuilt and should fire right up. Just need the boat to go to a good home. To update the thread the boat looks about like it does in the photos posted, the cast iron intake has some rust spots showing up and the trailer needs tires otherwise about the same. Make me a offer on the boat as I said I'd like it to go to a good home and leave some room for the new owner. I will try to get the carb cleaned out just dont have alot of time to do much with it lately.

For stock manifolds those are your best bet ... unless you're using tall covers. I've read they won't clear the top of the valve covers. For tall valve covers, the next best (for power) option; long-bolt logs. The short-bolt logs are the least desirable for making power. I'm running long-bolt logs with tall covers; I've been told they will support 450-500hp.
